She has set up factories for processing spice oils and oleoresins, a food laboratory and import businesses for food products, as well as marketing and distribution channels for organic foods. She has been consultant to Agri-products export promotion body of Government of Germany (CMA) and other reputed companies internationally. She has won the “Outstanding Women Entrepreneur” award for 2002, presented by the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu. She has been the National Director, Cheshire Disability Trust implementing livelihood programs for persons with disability. In her current role as Executive Director, she is tasked with building up the organizational capabilities of IFHD to design and implement core programmes in greening economies.

Robens has done his MA in Social Work (Loyola College, Chennai). Has 18 years of experience in International Development Cooperation. Areas of key expertise: Human and Institution Development, Livelihood improvement, Sustainable Agriculture, Organic and Fair Trade Certification, Micro-credit, Market development for agri-products and Collective marketing of products of small producers. Has held positions of Assistant General Manager, NABFINS. Was one of the promoters of two producer companies. His current role is to ensure ProCIF’s accountability, effectiveness and efficiency; Producer Organisation - assessment, mentoring and review; linkages for service provision; engagement with NGOs, financial institutions; wholesale lending NBFCs and banks, donors, market players and others; liaising with stakeholders.
Hemalatha D
Manager Partnerships
Hemalatha, has completed B.A (Hons) in English Literature, Jyothi Nivas College, Bangalore. She has an experience of working for 17 years as Secretary, Hivos India with responsibilities such as supporting the management, handling external relations and communications, managing the resource centre, supporting the programme department on external communications with partners and supporting project management. In her current role, Hema is tasked to develop partnerships consistent with IFHD’s priorities based on an analysis of key development issues, emerging trends and opportunities, develop and manage database of partners, service providers, donors etc, represent IFHD and maintain contacts with civil society organisations, government, corporate and others, manage communications and coordination with all stakeholders.
Kim Maria Misao
Assistant Director / Programme Development
Kim has completed her PG Diploma in NGO Management (EDII, Ahmedabad) and BA Hons History (JMC, Delhi University). Kim comes with more than 13 years of experience of working in the development sector. She has managed programmes of bilateral and multi-lateral nature on the issue of livelihood, health, and disaster management. She has worked in Development Alternatives and Hivos, in program development and M&E prior to joining IFHD. In her current role, Kim specialises in conceptualising and bringing together diverse actors and stakeholders for designing and operationalising effective programmes around the space of sustainable consumption and production and its associated areas of practice such as renewable energy, entrepreneurship, and green economy.
Paresh K Sethy
Assistant Director ProCIF
Paresh completed his PG Diploma in Management (IIM, Calcutta) and B. Tech (IIT, Guwahati). He has over 8 years expertise in consulting (strategy & scaling up), project management and business research Development & Government Sector. Has on-boarded a Public Enterprise, set up a raw material bank (yarn) for women weavers, set up a tailoring unit, on boarded DC (H) office, Ministry of Textiles and made strategies for their ‘craft awareness campaigns’ and worked on E-commerce to facilitate sales. In his current role, Paresh is tasked with identification and monitoring of service providers for the Technical Assistance facility for Farmer Producer Organisation; business planning for FPOs; administration of ProCIF diagnostic tool (MIDCA) on FPOs; preparation/ implementation of mentoring plan; technology transfer; facilitation of the value chain analysis of commodities; and market linkage for the FPOS.

Venkat has completed MBA (Finance) from Magnus School of Business, Chennai and is also a qualified Chartered Accountant (Inter). He has over 6 years of experience working in the corporate and non-profit sector covering Operations, Marketing, Financial Management and Programs in the work areas of Support to Farmer Producer Organization, Agricultural services/products, Livelihood Development, Financial Inclusion and Business Development including supply chain/logistics for the procurement of produces. In his current role, Venkat ensures provision of qualitative and output oriented Technical Assistance to the FPOs viz. develop market for the agriculture produces of the client FPOs; Coordinate, Monitor and Evaluate the TA provision to the FPOs by ProCIF service providers as well as provide the Required TA to the FPOs; and Development of training materials for the use of the FPOs.

Manju is a PG in Environmental Sciences from Kuvempu University, Karnataka, a Graduate in Forestry from University of Agri Sciences, Dharwad, and a Diploma holder in Agriclutre and Rural Development from CAM, Dharwad, Karnataka. He has 18 years’ experience of working in Karnataka in the areas of Sustainable Technology Transfer, Sustainable/ Organic agriculture, rural livelihoods, Farmer Producer Companies, watershed management, rural sanitation, bio diversity conservation and gender and youth. He has also several articles, books and films to his credit. In his current role, he ensures provision of qualitative and output oriented Technical Assistance to the FPOs; Develop market for the agriculture produces of the client FPOs; Coordinate, Monitor and Evaluate the TA provision to the FPOs by ProCIF service providers as well as provide the Required TA to the FPOs; and Develop training materials for the use of the FPOs.
